Acetaminophen

Acetaminophen administration doses:​

• 12-17 years old 500-650mg​
• 18 years and up 960-1000mg

• Acetaminophen dose is NOT weight dependent in the ALS PCS v5.4​

If the patient is less than 18 years of age and it appears that they would benefit from the 'adult' dose, a BHP patch must be completed to consult with a physician regarding this variance from the medical directive. ​
