Please find below our SWORBHP Tip on Fentanyl.
Tip Summary:
- In the ALS PCS v5.4 Fentanyl Conditions have changed to allow administration without the Normotension requirement
- HOWEVER, the other Conditions and Contraindications are unchanged
- If your patient is not normotensive, continue to ensure that the other Conditions are met (including Unaltered LOA) and Contraindications are not present, prior to administering fentanyl
