Question:
Question: Can you give Ketorolac to a HTN patient (180 systolic)? The PCP directive states Normotension.
Answer:
Normotension in an adult is defined as a systolic BP of greater than or equal to 100 mmHg (page 11 of the PCP medical directives). There is no contraindication to giving Ketorolac to a patient with hypertension.
