Question:

Are sublingual medications part of the considerations, since IN and buccal are?

Answer:

Sublingual medications are not included as part of the considerations.  Nitroglycerin SHOULD continue to be utilized as per the ALS PCS 4.6.1.

To reiterate, there is no evidence that the use of the IN or buccal route results in aerosolization of virus. The decision to not use the IN or buccal route for specific medications was done out of caution given there are other routes available for administration of these medications.
