Question: As an Advanced Care Paramedic, can I administer dopamine IO?
Answer:
 Thanks for your question. IO Dopamine administration is not listed as a route in the Advanced Life Support Patient Care Standards (ALS-PCS). The SWORBHP Medical Council as well as previous teaching from our lead educators supports an option to patch to the BHP for IO administration. This approach is also supported by other Regional Base Hospital Programs.
