What exactly are the oxygen flow rates per mask? I was given a different answer (specifically for a NRB) as a working medic than my friend who is in school

Different equipment and models have different flow rates.  For the most accurate information, please refer to the information supplied with each oxygen delivery system.

When referring to NRB flow rates during COVID-19 treatment considerations, the suggestion is to avoid oxygen delivery rates of ‰¥ 16L/min.  Consider using the minimal amount of flow required to inflate the BVM reservoir bag, which is 10-12L/min.
