Tip Summary:

• In the ALS PCS v5.4 Ketorolac Conditions have changed to allow administration without the Normotension requirement​
  • HOWEVER, the other Conditions and Contraindications are unchanged​
• If your patient is not normotensive, continue to ensure that the other Conditions are met (including Unaltered LOA) and Contraindications are not present, prior to administering ketorolac​
• Ketorolac is a medication that can only be dosed one time​
  • Should you think that the patient requires further dosing a BHP patch must be initiated
