From the Grey Zone presentation: Very early transport (after the 1st analysis) is to be considered in cardiac arrest when the suspected cause for arrest is potentially treatable by IN-HOSPITAL means.  Getting these patients to definitive care that cannot be provided pre-hospital is of utmost importance.  Examples include hypothermia, airway obstruction, suspected PE, medication overdose/toxicology.  Other prehospital treatable conditions (i.e. shockable rhythm) should have the full 4 analyses (or 3 rounds of epi) before consideration for transport.
