Intranasal (and buccal) medicine administration is still suggested to be withheld where alternative route of administration are possible.

The latest version (May 8, 2020) of the Considerations for Paramedics Managing Patients during the COVID-19 Pandemic (here) lists within it Non AGMPs as per the Ontario Provincial Infectious Disease Advisory Committee section, which include Defibrillation, Chest compressions (without airway management) and Intranasal medication administration.

However, in order to reduce the potential for exposure to respiratory secretions, it is recommended to use alternative routes of administration, in order to minimize risk.
