Question: My questions have to do with resolved suspected ischemic chest pain and if we should administer ASA even if the symptoms have resolved.
Answer:
 Thanks for your question. The "old" medical directive did specify that ASA should be administered even if the symptoms have resolved. The current medical directive does not specify this and thanks for bringing this to our attention.
The answer is yes. The patient with resolved suspected ischemic chest pain should have ASA administered as long as the other conditions and contraindications are met.
