Why are we waiting to implement the cardiac arrest medical directive changes until Feb?

The Ministry of Health has chosen that as the release date for all of the updated directives to allow for training of all paramedics across the province given the various training cycles across Base Hospitals. Given these are core medical directives, there is not the ability to have two different cardiac medical directives in-force at the same time
