Are there any expected changes coming in regards to transporting an organ donor VSA patient? Is there a more appropriate receiving facility to consider and what should we do with an organ donors body after obtaining a TOR?

Trillium is currently working with some paramedic services and developing initiatives to increase the identification of potential tissue donors that experience out of hospital cardiac arrest. However, there is no change in provincial paramedic practice and ultimately, the decision with regards to organ donation lies in the hands of the coroner.
