Question:

What is the difference between medical and traumatic electrocution?

Answer:

Electrocution, or passing of electrical current through tissue, strictly speaking, would be a medical condition. However, depending on the source voltage and situation surrounding electrocution, they may also have a concomitant trauma (if they were thrown or fell due to the electrocution). Therefore, one has to take into consideration the total picture of the electrocution to know the best way to manage the patient.
