Question:

If patient is experiencing chest pain and all signs/symptoms lead to suspected cardiac Ischemia, and considering ASA. 
 
Patient has a history of sensitivity to ibuprofen however takes ASA daily as well as patient took own ASA prior to EMS arrival 
 
Am I still alright to administer my own ASA even though patient has hx if sensitivity to Ibuprofen but takes ASA daily? 

Answer:

Yes. If the patient takes ASA daily, despite reporting a sensitivity to ibuprofen, there is no concern for paramedic administration of ASA via the Cardiac Ischemia Medical Directive.
