The Director is responsible for managing and leading the Regional Base Hospital program and the integrated programs within the Southwest Centre for Prehospital Medicine. The director ensures the delivery of quality services, medical direction, and advice paramedics in the region. The director represents London Health Sciences Centre and Southwestern Ontario on a provincial level and ensures the medical direction provided by the Regional Medical Director is followed and implemented from a legal, educational, and medically appropriate view to support pre-hospital emergency health care services.
Julie joined SWORBHP in September of 2024 as the Regional Program Director. Her educational background includes a BScN from Windsor University, is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders and is currently completing a Master's in Disaster and Emergency Management from Royal Roads University. Prior to joining SWORBHP, Julie worked in various leadership roles within LHSC including Director of Emergency Medicine and Director of London’s Mass Vaccination Center.
