Manager, Quality & Business Systems
The Manager, Quality & Business Systems works with regional Paramedic Services, provincial counterparts and other community partners to ensure the medical direction provided by the Regional Medical Director is followed and implemented from a legal, educational, and medically appropriate view to support pre-hospital emergency health care services and maximize delivery of high quality, safe, and efficient pre-hospital care. The Manager is accountable to ensure the delivery of quality assurance and quality improvement services, medical direction, and advice to Paramedic Services, Paramedics and pre-hospital emergency health care providers in the region. Specific accountabilities include the development and implementation of principles, standards, processes, and systems to advance decision support operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality information products and services that support and drive understanding and improvement using a just culture and patient-focused approach.
Bio: Rob joined SWORBHP in April 2022, as the Coordinator, now Manager of Quality and Business Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Science in Information Systems from Athabasca University. Rob has over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, and has been with London Health Sciences Centre for over 15 years.
